Hi, my name is Margarita Calvimonte, but everyone knows me by Peggy.

I was born in S/C de Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain.

But I currently reside in Utah, USA. 

 

I Studied at Utah State University Illustration & Graphic Design.

 

I Worked as the Senior Graphic Designer & I-tech/digitizer Specialist at a Hosiery and Apparel company for 17 years, but decided to branch out on my own now and pursuit my true passion.

I've cultivated Realism and a deep love for Nature related themes. But I also love Fantasy art and playing with Surrealistic and/or whimsical elements when I'm in the mood for some lighthearted humor.

My interests stretch to Graphic novels (from manga to web-toons) and anime, so look for a bit of influence of that in my pieces as well.
